How do you make an app continuously update itself?In most scenarios, Molnify does an excellent job of updating your app's state and performing calculations each time an input changes. However, some applications, such as those displaying live data statistics that are frequently updated by another source, require continuous and automatic updates. To enable your app to update itself continuously, you can incorporate a simple script in the JavaScriptAfterLoad section of your app: setInterval( () => { calculateButton(null); } , 2000);
- The setInterval JavaScript function schedules the calculateButton function to run every at a specified interval. In this case, every 2000 ms.
- The arrow function "() => {}" allows us to pass "null" as an argument to the calculateButton function.
Do you have scenarios where you use continuous updates in your Molnify apps, and/or other ways you solved this problem?
